Serge Airut has developed over the past years a wide expertise in Mergers and Acquisitions, Banking, Private Placements, Corporate Finance and Project Finance.
Serge joined the firm in August 2010. Prior to joining the firm, Serge Airut worked in 2009 as an International Associate at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP in London in the Corporate Finance and Capital Markets department. In January 2010, he moved to Reed Smith LLP in Paris in their Transportation and International Arbitration department where he developed his knowledge and expertise in Maritime and Aviation Law as well as international Arbitration under ICC and ICSID regulations.
In January 2011, Serge launched the Erbil Office of Airut Law Offices.
Since 2013, Serge has been a Partner and has been advising numerous international and regional clients and leading matters in Lebanon and Iraq and has broaden the firm activities in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt and Cyprus.
Over the years, Serge has had the opportunity to work on some of the largest mergers and acquisitions transactions in Lebanon as well as complex projects developments in the MENA region. He has developed his expertise in arbitration, banking, commercial matters, mergers and acquisitions, project development, litigation and tax structuring covering a wide range of industries such as healthcare, media, power and energy, pharmaceuticals, technology, telecommunications.
